I have created a video about how to save your work. This is really important because if you are busy doing a very important assignment and you haven’t saved it, all of your time you have put into your work has gone to waste.
Game on was a video directed towards teenagers and social media. It was about 4 children that had different problems to do with social media.
One of the first issues was based on 2 girls that both knew each others passwords to their social media pages. One of the girls had a picture of herself picking her nose on her page, but she knew that she didn’t post it. As the days went on her Dad tried to track down who the person was that posted the picture. Her Dad told her that only someone that knew her password would of been able to log onto her page. All of the girls friends knew about the problem and really wanted to help sort it out. At the end of the video the person that was posting the horrible pictures owned up to it. This person was the friend that the girl told her password to.
The next problem was based on two boys that were addicted to a video game. The boys didn’t know each other and had never met before which could be very dangerous. The game was taking away their homework time, sleep and time to socialize with friends and family. The boys stayed up until 2-3 in the morning and were falling asleep in class all the time. At the end the boys tried to minimise the amount they spent on the game.
The last problem that was caused was about a by that kept on posting selfies of himself and sending it to people that he didn’t know. The boy didn’t think much of it-nor did he know that it was getting sent around. His sister knew what he was doing was a bad idea, but it wasn’t until the boy’s sister and her friend were out shopping and the friend got sent a picture of the boy taking the selfie. The boys sister told her brother that he needs to delete the pictures he took as well as the friends. The boy does what she says as he also notices that what he did was a terrible idea.
The message to all these situations is firstly never give away your personal details, secondly try to avoid any games that you think you could get addicted to and finally what ever you put out on social media is there forever.
There are many advantages and disadvantages of the internet, my advantages are about the internet always improving and how bad it was when there was no internet. The disadvantages are about having no communication with your family or friends and frauds can pop up.
Advantages:
In the olden days there was no such thing as the internet. People would have to go wandering around the library looking for the book you they need. Usually the book is taken by someone else so you always need to make sure you are the first person to get the book your looking for.
The internet can also be positive because as the years moves on the internet is always improving. Which means the internet is downloading things people are researching a lot faster than it did years ago. There are always new games that are being made for kids that need help with school work.
Disadvantages:
Have you ever noticed that where ever you go specifically when you’re out for lunch or dinner there are always people on their phone or computer never paying any attention to their family or what’s happening around them. This is usually due to social media apps or the internet.
I have also noticed that sometimes when I’m researching important information. The questions pop up saying for e.g. If you want and iPhone 7 rose gold click here and fill in a couple of these questions. This is what you call a fraud it’s when someone makes one of these pages so they can get all of your personal details.
Conclusion:
